I got it right this time! and I'm super happee :) I never thought I could make my favorite dish of all time, the carbonara. But I did it! and the best thing is- it's a hot and spicy tuna carbonara. Achi said I just need confidence when cooking so it can be felt with my dish. Ditch on the other hand, told me to cook with my heart and keep experimenting rather than thinking that I will fail again. Thanks ditch and achi :)
If you want to know how I made this, I'll share my recipe here. But because I'm actually a lazy but trying-hard cook, I have to put a disclaimer. hehehe :) You'll probably be confused how I measure things but I get intimidated with a lot of measuring and steps so I do by packs. I hope you can still follow through. So the main ingredients for this recipe are a cup of happy thoughts and a pinch of confidence. :) I hope you'll love this recipe too.
spaghetti 500g-cook it according to pack's instructions/put salt and cooking oil on the water
garlic-about 4-5 cloves sliced
century tuna hot and spicy 2 155g can-drained from oil
nestle all purpose cream 2 packs
cheese 1/2 pack-grated
water- add for the consistency that you want
maggi magic sarap or knorr pork cubes for flavor and taste
Cook the spaghetti according to pack's instructions.put a tablespoon of cooking oil and salt before the water boils. Set aside.
Put enough butter to melt on the frying pan. Add the drained tuna then the garlic. Then add the all purpose cream and the cheese. Let it simmer for a while. Add water if you think the cream is too thick- about a small cup of water.
Then add a pinch of magic sarap or half a pack of knorr pork cubes. If you already like the taste, add the spaghetti. Serve and enjoy :)
